Private tutoring for Filipino learners

What is Eduline?

Eduline matches each learner with a tutor and stays involved after the match. Share the subject, the grade level and how the learner studies best; a person reads that and finds someone who has taught it at that level. Sessions follow the DepEd curriculum the learner is actually on, which matters this year, because MATATAG is still rolling out and Senior High has just replaced its strands with elective clusters. What we put in writing is the tutor, the plan, and a change of tutor at no charge whenever the learner wants one.

What we do, and the standard we hold

What we do

  • ·Read each request and match a tutor to it
  • ·Screen identity, qualification and clearance first
  • ·State the hourly rate before anything is booked
  • ·Replace the tutor free of charge whenever you ask

The standard you can hold us to

  • ·Billing and messages go only to the account holder
  • ·The hourly rate in writing before the first session
  • ·A home tutor who lives within reach of your street
  • ·Sessions built on the DepEd subjects the learner is sitting
Why this is hard

Finding the right tutor is mostly guesswork

Every learner deserves a careful choice, yet almost everything that decides it stays hidden until after the booking.

You cannot check what you are told

A post in a group chat says "licensed teacher, available weekends". There is no way to verify a diploma, a licence or a clearance from a thread, and asking feels rude when the person is a friend of a friend.

The materials are for a different year

MATATAG moved Grades 3, 6 and 9 this school year while Grade 10 stayed behind, and Senior High has dropped the strands entirely. A tutor working from last year’s reviewer can end up teaching a syllabus the learner no longer sits.

A batch moves at the batch’s pace

In a group review class a learner either falls behind the room or sits through material already understood. Slowing down on the part that is not landing would help most, and a batch has no way to do it.

The real cost appears at signing

The advertised figure turns out to exclude the enrolment fee, the reviewer, the assessment, or the term you have to buy whole. By the time you can total it up, you have already said yes.

The schedule assumes someone is free

Sessions are offered at four in the afternoon, across the city, on the days the centre runs them. For a learner with a school day, a commute or a job to fit around, and traffic being what it is, that timetable becomes a second problem to solve.

Nobody owns the match

When the tutor turns out to be wrong for the learner, the search starts again from zero. Whoever made the introduction has no further part in it.

How Eduline answers it

Each of these has the same answer. A person reads your request, matches a screened tutor to the grade level and the curriculum the learner is actually on, and states the hourly rate before anything is booked. When the fit is wrong, finding the next tutor is our job, at no charge.

How it works

Four steps, and you can stop at any of them

Nothing is charged and nothing is booked until you have seen who the tutor is and what the hour costs.

01

Tell us what you need

The subject, the learner’s grade level or goal, the days and hours that actually work, and whether the tutor comes to the home or meets online. Fill it in for yourself or for someone you are enrolling; it takes a few minutes and costs nothing.

02

A person reads it

Someone on our side goes through your request and looks for a tutor who has taught that subject at that grade level, on the syllabus the learner is working through right now.

03

You see the tutor and the rate

We tell you who we have found, what they have taught before, and the rate per hour, before anything is booked. If it is not right, say so and nothing happens.

04

Sessions start, and stay yours to change

You set the schedule and can move it, and you can swap tutors whenever you like without paying a peso more: finding the right one is our job.

How we work

What we can actually stand behind

Every line here is something you can hold us to, from the first message to the last session of the school year.

A person reads your request

Someone looks at the subject, the grade level and how the learner studies best, then picks a tutor who has taught exactly that before. You are told who it is and what they have taught before a session is booked.

The curriculum in force this year

MATATAG has reached Grades 3, 6 and 9, while Grade 10 stays on the older curriculum until 2027. Senior High has replaced the strands with elective clusters. The tutor is briefed on which of those the learner is actually sitting.

Checked before the name reaches you

Identity, qualification and clearance are verified before we offer anyone to you. Anyone who wants to know what was checked on their tutor can ask: this is the person who will sit beside the learner, at home or on screen, and the answer is theirs to have.

Free tutor replacement

Want a different tutor? Say so and a new one is found at no charge. The request needs no reason beyond whatever the learner chooses to share.

Promises kept in writing

UPCAT qualified 18,350 of 147,437 examinees for AY 2026-2027, and UP decides every one of those places. What Eduline puts in writing is the part that moves a learner toward one: the tutor, the plan built for that paper, and a free change of reviewer whenever the learner needs one.

Booked around the learner’s week

The learner picks the days, the hours and whether each session is at home or online, and any of it can move when the week changes. Lessons can begin in any week of the year and run at the learner’s own pace.
