The short version
Plans change, and when they do you should know exactly what happens to the money you paid. Every lesson you have paid for and have not used comes back to you. Approved refunds leave Eduline within 7 business days and go straight back to the card or e-wallet you paid with. Your tutor can be changed whenever you ask, free of charge.
The sections below give each rule with its numbers. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every booking made with Eduline in the Philippines.

1. Cancelling before your first lesson
Changed your mind before lessons begin? Tell us any time before the first lesson starts and we refund everything you paid for lessons, in full, within 7 business days of your request.
Where your booking carries a one-time registration fee, that fee comes back to you too when you cancel before we match a tutor and introduce them to you. Once a tutor has been matched and introduced, the registration fee covers the matching work already done and stays with Eduline.
2. Stopping partway through a package
You can stop lessons whenever you like. The lessons already taught that month are recalculated at the single-lesson rate, since the package discount belongs to a package that runs its full course, and every paid lesson you have not used is refunded to you within 7 business days of your request.
For example, if you paid for a package of 8 lessons and stop after 3, we charge those 3 lessons at the single-lesson rate and refund the whole difference.
If you would rather keep the value for later or move it to another programme, say so and we hold it as credit on your account for 12 months.
3. Moving or cancelling a single lesson
Move or cancel any lesson free of charge by telling us at least 24 hours before it starts.
With less than 24 hours to go, write to us anyway and we ask your tutor for another time that works for you both. If the lesson cannot be moved, it counts as taught. The same applies when the learner does not attend and has sent no word: the tutor waits 15 minutes, and after that the lesson counts as taught, because the tutor kept that hour for you.
4. When the problem is on our side
If your tutor cancels or misses a lesson, we reschedule it at no cost to you and it never counts against your package.
You can ask for a new tutor at any time, free of charge, and we propose the replacement. If we cannot give you a tutor you are happy with within 14 days of your request, we refund every unused lesson and the registration fee in full, within 7 business days.
5. How to ask for a refund
Email us at eduline.ph@gmail.com from the address you registered with. Include the learner's full name, your invoice number, and the lessons you want refunded, or simply tell us you are stopping and we work out the rest.
We reply within 1 business day and confirm the exact amount in writing before we send it. When the learner is under 18, the parent or guardian who holds the account sends the request.
6. How and when the money comes back
We send every approved refund within 7 business days. A payment made by card or e-wallet goes back to that same card or e-wallet, as the card networks require, so your money always returns along the path it came.
Your bank or wallet provider usually shows the credit within 5 to 10 business days after we send it. Refunds are made in Philippine pesos, the currency you paid in, and we never deduct a processing fee from them. If your card is billed in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate on the day the refund posts.
Prefer to keep the amount as credit for future lessons? Tell us and we hold it on your account for 12 months instead.
7. What is not refundable
Four things, and nothing else: lessons already taught; a lesson that counts as taught under the 24-hour rule in section 3; the registration fee once a tutor has been matched and introduced, when you are the one who cancels; and the package discount for a month you stop early, which is the single-lesson recalculation described in section 2.
8. Payments and your rights
Every payment goes to Eduline, and Eduline pays each tutor for the lessons they teach. A payment made directly to a tutor sits outside this policy and outside the protection it gives you.
Your rights under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394) apply in addition to this policy, and nothing here limits your right as a cardholder to raise a dispute with your bank.
