Private tutoring, built around one learner
Every match starts from the learner: a Grade 3 pupil, a Grade 11 student reviewing for the UPCAT, a college student facing calculus, or a professional brushing up for work. Eduline finds the tutor who fits that person and stays involved after the first session. Below is exactly what we do, how a match is made, and the commitments you can hold us to.
- K to 12
- DepEd curriculum from Kinder to Grade 12, then college and adult learning
- One to one
- Every session is one learner with one tutor
- Home or online
- The learner picks one and can switch later
- Own account
- Adult learners hold theirs; a parent or guardian holds a minor’s
What Is Eduline?
Eduline is a managed private tutoring service in the Philippines for learners of every age, from Kinder pupils to working professionals. The learner, or whoever is signing them up, tells us the subject, the level and how they learn best; we find a tutor who fits and arrange the first session, at home or online. Sessions follow the DepEd curriculum the learner is actually on, the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum included, or the entrance exam they are preparing for. Eduline teaches across the Philippines, with home visits from the tutor nearest the learner and online lessons in every province.
- One tutor, one learner: every session is built around that learner alone
- Tutors are screened before they are offered to you, and you meet them before you commit
- Matched on subject, level and schedule by a person who reads the whole request
- At home or online, and you can switch between them without starting over
- Adult learners hold their own account; for a learner under 18, a parent or guardian holds it and receives every message and invoice
- Tutor replacement is free on request and takes effect from the very next session
Our Mission & Vision
Mission
Make one-to-one tutoring something any Filipino learner can actually arrange, at any age: the right tutor for that learner, the price said out loud before anything is booked, and a person to call when something needs fixing.
Vision
That a learner in a provincial town has the same choice of tutor as a learner in Metro Manila, and that every tutor knows which curriculum their learner is on, in a system where Grade 9 and Grade 10 are now taught two different ways.
What we hold ourselves to
Four commitments you can check us against, session after session
We commit to the work
The learner sits the exam, and the school or examiner awards the result. Our commitment, written into the Terms, covers everything that readies a learner for both: the right tutor, a plan built on the actual syllabus, and sessions held when they were booked.
The price is said first
The rate per hour is on the table before a session is arranged. Lessons are paid to Eduline by invoice, Eduline pays the tutor for each session, and any fee is named at the point it applies.
The right person holds the account
A learner aged 18 or over holds their own account, billing and inbox. Under the Data Privacy Act a learner under 18 cannot give valid consent, so for a minor those sit with a parent or guardian, and Eduline never markets to a minor.
Free tutor replacement, on request
Ask for another tutor and we match again free of charge, with no questions to answer first.
Why learners choose Eduline
What we do, in plain terms, so you can tell whether we did it
We screen before we introduce
We check who the tutor is, what they studied, and whether they can teach the subject at the learner’s level before their name reaches you. You still meet them before anything is committed.
How we recruit tutors →A person reads your request
Subject, level, schedule, and how the learner actually takes things in. A member of our team reads every line of the request and matches from it, so the tutor fits the learner as well as the map.
At home or online
Home, or online when traffic, distance or a typhoon makes the trip unreasonable. The learner can move between the two and keep the same match.
How online sessions work →The schedule is yours
Sessions fit around classes, shifts and the commute, evenings and weekends included. When the time stops working, we move it.
The curriculum the learner is actually on
MATATAG is still rolling out and the Senior High strands have been replaced by elective clusters, so Grade 9 and Grade 10 follow different curricula this year. We match to the one the learner is sitting, and to the entrance exam or college course when that is the goal.
Someone to tell when it is wrong
A missed session is put right, and a new tutor is found free of charge the moment you ask. You tell us, and our team handles it from there.
Contact us →What learners ask before they start
Straight answers before anything is booked, whether the lessons are for you or for someone you are enrolling
Every grade from Kinder to Grade 12 on the DepEd curriculum as it is taught this year, then college subjects and adult programmes such as IELTS and OET. The school years need the most care right now: MATATAG is still rolling out grade by grade, and Senior High runs on elective clusters under the Academic and TechPro tracks, which replaced the old STEM, ABM, HUMSS and GAS strands. Each tutor works from the syllabus the learner actually has open on the desk.
Yes: UPCAT, ACET, USTET, DCAT, PUPCET and the other university-specific tests. These are seasonal, so the strongest start is months before the test date. Tell us the date and we lay out how many hours fit between now and then, and where they go.
Grades and admissions are awarded by the school or university, on the work the learner hands in and the answers written on test day. Everything that builds that work is ours: a tutor who knows the subject at that level, sessions that run when they were booked, and a replacement tutor sent free on request. Our Terms put it in writing.
Say the word and we replace the tutor, free of charge. A poor fit costs money and study hours, so we change it quickly. You can ask at any point, with no reason required and no minimum number of sessions to sit through first.
Either, and you can switch. In-person works when the tutor can reach you reliably; online works when traffic, distance or weather makes that unrealistic, and it is the same tutor and the same plan. You choose which to start with when you register.
A learner aged 18 or over holds their own account and messages, and an employer, relative or sponsor can still settle the invoice. For a learner under 18, the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) places the account, the billing and the messages with a parent or guardian, because a minor cannot give valid consent. We arrange a minor’s lessons through that adult, and we never market to the minor or ask for their contact details.
Still have a question? Ask us directly
Tell us who is learning and what they need
The subject, the level, and the hours the learner is free. We come back with a tutor who fits and the rate per hour before anything is booked.
